A Bit About Me
Background, education and approach to work
I'm Mykhailo Klimnyk — a Head of Data from Ukraine. My professional journey started with building analytical reports in an FMCG company, where I realized that data isn't just numbers in spreadsheets — it's a powerful tool for driving business decisions. Since then, I've moved on to designing full-scale data platforms, ETL pipelines and deploying machine learning solutions into production.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Software Development from Lubelska Akademia WSEI in Lublin, Poland. Studying abroad gave me more than just a technical foundation — it taught me to adapt quickly, think broadly and find unconventional solutions in any situation.
Currently, I work as Head of Data at AUTOMOTO — a network of automotive media platforms, where I'm responsible for the entire data infrastructure: from collection and processing to deploying intelligent automation for content generation.
My Approach
I almost never see situations where "it can't be done." If something seems impossible, it just means you haven't figured out how to do it yet. What matters to me is not which specific tools you know, but how you think and approach problems. The right mindset always beats a specific technology — technologies change, but the ability to reason through complex challenges stays with you.
